Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
The ICU at Our Hospitals is equipped with high-tech specialised facilities for close monitoring, rapid intervention and, in certain cases, extended treatment of patients with acute organ dysfunction and life-threatening conditions.
With a dedicated team providing round-the-clock critical care, the ICU has sophisticated systems like hemodynamic monitors, ICP monitors, IAP monitors, ventilators, and defibrillators to maintain the patient’s vital functions. Besides, our advanced diagnostic services are available 24×7 to support the activities of the critical care team.
To provide specialized care in an ICU setting, Bhrungi also has Medical Intensive Care Unit and surgical Medical Intensive Care Unit
High Dependency Unit (HDU)
For improved outcomes and better management of critical care patients, Bhrungi provides the services of a High Dependency Unit. In simple terms, an HDU could be described as a bridge between the ICU and wards.
While the level of care is not as intensive as in an ICU, it is much higher than that in a ward. It is appropriate for patients who have been stabilized in the ICU or who have undergone major surgery or who are suffering from single organ failure.
